Hello.

I hope this is the correct section.

Anyway, sometimes I get tired of hearing sarcastic remarks, bad news, reports of wickedness and hearsay about the horrible future, etc.

Anyone do any small kind act today they’d like to discuss about and cheer up the day?

Thanks for listening.

My hubby fell and broke both knees and he has been bedfast this is starting the 7th week. Today he has an itchy spot on his back that he couldn’t reach and I scratched it for him.

I didn’t do this, but was the recipient of the good deed… my sister-in-law went to the grocery store for us and brought us food for the week… It’s more than 18 miles to the store… Thanks for kind people!

I get my exercise by cycling in a cemetery. I noticed a few plants overturned by the wind and I turned them back up on the graves. I noticed they were dry and so I found a bottle and watered them. Also, I just finished serving in a food kitchen. Thanks, this is a good day for a thread like this.

My wife is a big tea drinker. I get up earlier than she does, and every morning after I pray the Office I make her a big pot of tea!

Someone smiled at me. Writing that down sounds kind of lame, but it was really nice just to see a smiling person. 🙂

Yesterday an 83 year old lady drove up to my house about 10 miles, to bring me a snowball bush that she had started for me last year. Since my hubby is bed-fast right now, she knew I couldn’t come to her to get it. She said it needed to be transplanted before summer starts… That was super kind of her and she wouldn’t let me thank her. An old superstition she has that if I thank her the plant will not live… 🙂

After suffering from severe back pain from months, I received a facet joint injection. My pain, for the most part, has been relieved. I thank God for finding a good doctor who administered this treatment.

Wonderful idea for a thread. Today I visited a former co-worker that I usually only see once or twice a year. He is in the hospital after having a quadruple by-pass. He seems to be doing really well. Take care.

Well, a couple of days ago, my husband, my baby girl and I were out at a restaurant and a woman behind us was extremely rude to us about a bit of noise our daughter was making. It had me very disheartened and losing faith in people.

The next day, I was out running errands and stopped at a different restaurant with my daughter. The whole day, people were kind and at lunch the people at the table behind us were smitten with my sweet girl, waving and blowing her kisses the whole time. It more than made up for the rude lady.

Sometimes it might seem like a small kind act, but it means a lot to someone. Parents with little ones can be exhausted and struggling, but a simple kindness shown can make our day brighter. So, thank you to those people 🙂

Yesterday, my hubby who has been confined to bed for 7 and a half weeks spent three hours in his wheel chair, some of it in the sun on the porch! He got a little sunburn, but he’s happy about it!!! Thank you, Lord, for all your kindnesses…

I would say yes that praying counts. Yesterday I was cutting and splitting limbs and logs for my sister-in-law and her “live in” that burn wood in the colder parts of the year. Tomorrow I will be mowing my mom’s lawn. Blessings.

Hello.

Picked up a wadded fast food wrapper from off the ground and threw it away this afternoon.

Over the last couple of days I’ve delivered wood to my sister-in-law, loaned and extension ladder to the husband of a friend of my wife, had the car washed by some kids at a Lutheran church raising $ for a mission trip, and today will be delivering food to a local Catholic church. Take care and blessings.
