New one… my friend has to have kidney dialysis twice a week. She said it was cold in there and asked me if I knew who could make short sleeves on a sweat shirt. I volunteered even though I’m no seamstress. My neighbor who is a seamstress is out of town with her son who is suffering from stomach cancer… WOW! I know it sounds unreal… I was going to get my neighbor to help me but I’m on my own. Wish me luck… I’m cutting sleeves off TODAY!!! God, be with me.

Petra,
Blessings to you, your friend, your neighbor and your neighbor’s son.

This past week my wife and I have taken her sister to a dr. appointment about a 3 hr drive round trip (do this about 1 time per month), given her and her boyfriend wood that we have cut and split for them to burn this winter, dropped off quilts that my wife has made to a local church for donation, given money at a benefit for someone that had a double mastectomy, shared from our vegetable garden and sent blessings to all beings everywhere. And today I treated my body to a run after my daily yoga practice. Blessings to all.

Sometimes we think we are unimportant, but it’s the small things that keep Jesus alive… Good job! 👍

During Mass today, at the Sign of Peace, I shook the hand of a beautiful old lady in a wheelchair.
Last week I shook a guys hand twice. (freaked him out…and perked him up a bit)
Driving down the road today, I hit a huge pothole. Instead of cursing, I forgave myself.
At a prayer meeting today, I restrained myself and let others finish talking without interrupting them.
These are just tiny little things.
We need to have random acts of kindness on our minds everyday!

Not interrupting while someone is speaking is not a tiny thing, not for me anyway. I’m always thinking of what to say in response while they are talking. Great job! Blessings to you and yours.

I was going to eat ice cream last night but a thought came to me to offer it up for my neighbor’s son with cancer. He was on a ventilator last night… It may not have anything to do with it, or God could have taken my offer, but this morning he woke up and wanted his wife and daughter with him, he wrote it on a piece of paper… the doctors said he wouldn’t be able to communicate or even wake up for several days at least…
Thank you, God, for your mercy!!!

awesome Petra-Apparently small kind acts have great results sometimes. We just have to be open to acknowledging/seeing them. We had my wife’s niece (single mom) and her daughter over for dinner the other evening.
