Smallpox vacine and NFP

deb1…one thing you need to remember about the smallpox vaccine…if you or one of your children have a supressed immune system or eczema…they are not to come in contact with anyone who has a fresh vaccine. I have never been vaccineated against smallpox because of it. It is a “live” virus and I am allergic to the cow pox it is made with.

Not alot of people know this…when the smallpox vaccine started coming back…a nurse in Florida died because she took the vaccine and was not warned. She had eczema…

Well, yes, sometimes we have to make SACRIFICES for the sake of our faith. No one ever said it would be easy.

I am not argueing against sacrifices.Why not simply state that ***all *** women who might become pregnant should abstain?

There are no birth control options that are 100% effective, especially those that depend on the individual to administer to themselves.

The pill can be forgotten, or the condom can break or be damaged etc.

If it is the smallpox vacination is that dangerous to unborn infants then fertile women should not have sex, period, until the time limit is up.

Besides why single out NFP if some of the methods allow are less reliable then NFP?

My hubby was told to wash his clothing seperately from ours. To change his own bandages and wash his hands afterwards. to wear a bandage and a shirt with sleeves to bed.

He recieved a lot of info on how not to spread infection. So, I think that it is all right.

I didn’t know about the eczema though. My hubby has a mild case of eczema. I wonder why they didn’t mention this to him?

He also recieved the anthrax, typhoid and flu shot. He will be taking daily malaria pills also.
