So am I just a prude or what?

I’m very happy to hear that you don’t enjoy those kinds of movies. I’m almost 18 and realize how spiritually damaging they can be. Even watching TV and seeing some of the commercials is enough to make me feel dirty. I’m with you all the way, so I’m a prude, too (even though guys aren’t usually called prudes). 😃 Whatever. God loves prudes! 👍

Dear Elizastaci,

Don’t feel too confused. You are totally correct in your, pardon the expression, gut feelings. Movies like this are totally over-rated and your uneasiness proves that you have a good moral temperament. To be pure is difficult these days. That is why movies like this are dangerous to young and old people, alike. Don’t worry what people call you; if you stick to your convictions, you will probably earn their respect in the end when they realize what a waste of time and money the show was. Keep strong.
