Can you define “personal song”?

As a musician, I would consider a personal song a song that I sing to a specific person, for instance, a song for my child “Suzy, you are my sunshine. Suzy, you light up the room”.
 
Someone’s personally inspired song rather than using divine inspiration. It sounded pretty but did not have the divine message that God lovingly provided us in the Psalms.
 
So I can be bummed cause I believe that God’s word is not held in reverence as it should in the Liturgy of the Word : ) …but detached from my will so that I know that I cannot make the Priest change the Liturgy of the Word back to reflect the intentions of the Usccb daily readings.
 
Some people teach detachment is to not be emotional or compassionate…that’s not what detachment is. Compassion is good…God desires our Spirit to be on fire for him and to trust in His will…such that no matter how our hearts burn in passion we do as God wills not our own. God heavenly Father, guide us in the way, truth and life of Christ. In Jesus, Amen.
