please pray that God will make known His reason for what is going on in my life.

i’ve met someone who is everything and more i could ever ask for in a man i would want to spend the rest of my life with. the only problem is he is in the seminary. i felt this connection and draw towards him before i knew what he was doing with his life. it was one of those moments you hear about where people meet someone and automatically know that it is something special. i don’t know what to do and don’t understand why i am going through this. all i know is that i’ve never felt this way before about anyone.

i ask for prayers and any advice. thanks.

Dear Rose,
If you do trust in God then you will believe that God has a great plan for your life. What you should do is that put God first in your life. Don’t focus self-centered but God-centered.
I will pray that God will give you Holy Spirit that you may understand God’s will and His way will be done.
Remember always that God loves you very much. And out all your troubles in His hand.
God bless you

Your attraction to this man is understandable even in that he is someone idealistic enough to be prepared to give his life to God. A good priest…or aspirant to be one…is responding to all that is best in humanity in that more than anything he wishes to fully respond to the gospel.

The goodness in others, like yourself, can respond to this whole-hearted goodness. It is quite possible that this great attraction to this man is your spirit’s recognition of his spirit’s beauty and goodness precisely because his commitment is so whole-hearted and good. There is nothing more attractive than a truly good heart. It hurts, and it’s hard to arrange your thoughts correctly

…but can you imagine how incrediby beautiful Jesus would have appreared to others because of his purity of spirit and goodness…and not a single woman acted against Him if you read the gospels you will not find a single instance…

Can you trust your heart into God’s hands and beg Him to find you the man He wishes for you. And do pray for this good man who is giving his life to God. He will need prayer, as all of us do.

Our God, perhaps some time during his or her life someone may be particularly attracted to another person. You reveal Yourself to us in others, to share some priceless blessing of Your love and goodness with us. Our perception prefigures the spiritual ‘inloveness’ of angelic communion that will reverberate between all persons in Heaven as gift of spiritual brotherhood intended to serve You in us.

To see anyone’s unique value is to acknowledge the goodness of Your Creation and the wonder of Your expression of Yourself in him or her! Let our appreciation of others’ preciousness be a song of praise to You and of petition for them. Grant us serenity and blessing for each other. In Heaven, everyone will be in love with each other—that is, will recognise the wonderful, unique miracle of each other person.

Our God, let no one be confused or led astray by inappropriate attractions. Feelings are natural human responses. They will sometimes fade if commonsense prevails. Sin and foolishness only enter if feelings are acted upon; therefore, guard Your ministers and Your people with commonsense and mutual charity.

I wish you the best, and will pray for your peace and happiness, Trishie
