So, did your parish have a Corpus Christi Procession?

No. 😦

This is considered too “old fashion” here 😦

Essentially it was just another “low” Sunday Mass, although we did have a special speaker about ACTS. It was a “personal witness” type of presentation.

OF parish. No Procession at the 7:30 Mass. Also skipped the Lauda Sion Sequence. Not sure why?

Our local OF parish did a Procession.

I’m never sure if my photos load or not. Yes! The Canopy was hand made by one of our parish ladies. It is truely a work of art.
There’s no such thing as an “OF parish.” Even so, I took part in a procession after the vigil Mass. It was awesome.

My OF parish also skipped this.

Whether it’s official use or not, the meaning is clear. 🤷

I’m afraid I must disagree with you, Stylites, when you say “there is no such thing as an OF parish”. An OF parish is one that celebrates the Ordinary Form only. There are also EF parishes who celebrate the ExtraOrdinary Form only.

The words are perfectly valid.

We did… It was a joint collaboration between two churches. The procession began inside (obviously) and then progressed throughout the neighborhood. I have a short video on youtube that I posted of it.

I’m including a screenshot of the video that you can view below…

My parish in the city had a Corpus Christi procession this past Thursday outdoors following a Solemn Mass. This was under the threat of looming rain and storms which gracefully stopped during the homily. Many saw Our Lord and made their reverences kneeling and/or photographing.

The parish also had a procession indoors on Sunday after Vespers and before Benediction.

May the Heart of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament be praised, adored, and loved, with grateful affection at every moment in all the tabernacles of the world even to the end of time Amen!
Those are some awesome photos. Thanks for posting them. 🙂

God bless

We had one on Sunday. It had been raining the days previous, so some of the ground was soggy, but we had a good turnout, it being placed between the two Masses.
Pray the Manhattan procession helped the man on the street to remember that God is in our midst and that he is not just to be thought of on Sundays in a building.
