I came to catholic answers some years ago, looking for help on answering some questions about the catholic faith. I had been challenged on catholic beliefs, you know the same old stuff, the papacy, we worship Mary, catholics aren’t saved, catholicism isn’t biblical, birth control, confession…etc. I came here in those days thinking I knew my faith, and frankly was ready to chuck the whole catholic religion thing. What truly stunned me was that I was a cradle catholic, born and raised, catholic school, relatives in the religious life, and yet I had such blatantly wrong ideas about the faith. I read, I studied, I learned from all of you here. I went to confession, started going to Adoration, got involved in my parish, got involved in Bible study, inspired by the Holy Spirit I fell in love with being catholic and have never looked back. I am confident in my explanations to others on our faith. I know what the Holy Mass is and have gained such graces in my life because of it. I thank you all for your help in leading me back to the one true faith, the church that Jesus Christ our savior established. Thank you Lord for giving me eyes to see, and ears to hear. I am yours. Thank you and God Bless you all.

What a beautiful post! Thank you so much for sharing.

My initial reaction when seeing your topic was that it does not belong in this section of the forum. But now that I think about it, your witness is apologetic in nature.

God bless you as you continue the journey! 🙂

Thank you for this post. You will be kept in my prayers on your ever continuing journey. Please keep me in yours also.
Prayers & blessings

This makes all the money I send to Catholic Answers all worth it!

Thank you so for this story.

May God continue to bless you and bring many spiritual consolations. :yup:

Oh and for my 1,000th post, I think I got a well deserved suspension for saying something rather uncharitable. 😦

I learned my lesson though!
