So, I'm getting married

Strange how things happen sometimes. I have been researching valid marriage because of problems with my daughter wanting to marry a non catholic. While talking with my wife, she asked me if our marriage was valid. I quickly said of course. Then after thinking about it I was not sure.
Well after talking with my priest, it is not. Twenty seven years ago when we got married, I was episcopal and my wife catholic. She did not have a church having moved. I was active in my church and so we had a big wedding there. I did not know that she needed to ask the church first.
Today we will see Fr Patrick and tie the knot. My inlaws will be our witness and our four children. Funny, strange, happy day!!!

That must have come after 27 years as quite a shock! Still, congratulations on your wedding, I hope you’ll both have a wonderful day!
