So I'm running for my school senate

…and I’m faced with an opponent who is popular, junior-class president, etc. When I heard that she’s running for senate, I thought to myself, “Maybe you should refrain from this”, but I went to the meeting and I signed up. Honestly, I’m not the most popular person in my school and this senate thing is something that I really want to do. I want be involved with our IB classes and be a representative for my 4th period English class. I honestly won’t be surprised if I lose to this election, but I want some motivation. Because I know I will regret it so badly if I don’t go through with this. My election is next Wednesday and I have to say a short speech. All I need now are prayers for courage, motivation, and wisdom.

OK, so what if you lose. Lincoln did not always win the race, but he went on to become a great president in a troubled era. If you do not win consider Jesus who died for His cause.
