So is it okay to do homework on Sundays?

I’ve read some posts on here about different ways of honoring the Lord on Sundays, and the rules we are supposed to follow about it really confuse me. I think the Catechism says we are supposed to abstain from work that takes away from worship of God, and I don’t really feel like homework helps me worship God…but at the same time, I would find it difficult to succeed as a student if I never did homework on Sundays, and I doubt that God wants me to fall behind in my studies. What do you think?
 
Hi,

Intellectual work does not constitute manual labor and is therefore allowed on Sunday. Many a religious sister has corrected papers and made lesson plans on Sundays!
