I don’t know if you have ever played some of these online games but sometimes the people who chat on them can be excessively vulgar: like 100% more than a football game or TV. I think the game is worth the sacrifice if it means not being exposed to lots of bad language. Also, on some of these game chats, it is not just cuss words but the vulgar remarks can often be of a crude sexual nature - and that’s certainly a good enough reason not to play that game anymore.

Have to say, No, I ve never played online games. This is as close as I get to communicating with strangers online. So, I would have to agree with you, if players online are that bad, I probably wouldn’t be messing around with it. My point was pretty much directed to everyday situations that we can’t control. Thanks for further elaborating.

Great points Gizmo! Eventhough I don’t think it is a sin, it is a good idea (and better for us spiritually) to stay away from that kind of vulgarity as much as possible.
