I am accused by people of having a bad outlook on life. The reason behind this is when talking with people I tell them I am disgusted with life here on earth and am ready to go home to Our Lord. This isn’t wrong to think this way is it? I explain I don’t have a death wish but my feelings are just those. In the beginning life wasn’t supposed to be like it is now. Original sin took care of this. I don’t want to shed a bad light on my faith for I am proud to be a Catholic. I always try to be friendly and smile at everyone and don’t take out my bad moods on anyone. I was also “invited” by management at work to participate in a weekly meeting they hold; they read through the book “The world’s most powerful leadership principle” by James C. Hunter. It is a book of how to become a servant leader. By being a servant he talks about Christ. I have the book but haven’t read it because it doesn’t say what faith he is and I don’t want to get wrapped up with some dime store philosophy that doesn’t have a Catholic interpretation, I haven’t said that and maybe I should and I know this hasn’t been taken well by management since it is by “invitation only”. So is this wrong?
Just asking opinions.
