I just found out something so sad 😦 about my boyfriend’s mum, well, my future mother in law. I knew before that she had had an abortion which has always made me so sad anyway, like I feel as if I want to cry every time I think about it 😦
but apparently she really wanted to keep the baby but it was her (now ex-)husband, my boyfriend’s dad who pressured her to get the abortion! oh, and he wouldn’t get off his behind and go and get a job so they could support a third baby anyway 😦
she is such an unhappy person and has a lot of the symptoms of post-abortion syndrome too. my heart just breaks for her and the whole family for that beautiful blessing they missed out on. It’s just so weird to think that there should be a third child… there WAS third child but now it’s gone and nobody mentions it anymore. but that sadness will always be with her.
Sorry I am just overwhelmed with sadness and the way things like this are just brushed under the mat.
I pray for God’s healing in her heart :gopray:

Would she consider going on a healing retreat such as Rachel’s Vineyard or Project Rachel?

I don’t think so. She is religious but not Catholic and we are no close enough that I could ever bring this kind of thing up. I will just carry on praying for her. I worry about this 😦

Don’t worry, offer it up! Worrying about it isn’t going to help you are her… but remember it.

There may come a day when you can talk to her about this and about healing. Remember her in your prayer and patiently wait to see if that day comes.

I ask God to lead your future mother-in-law to healing and preace.
I will pray for her and for all this family.

God grant you a happy marriage, and that your kindness towards her will help her to find joy in Him.
