Glorious Saint Joseph, foster-father and protector of Jesus Christ, to you I raise my heart and my hands to implore your powerful intercession. Please obtain for me from the kind Heart of Jesus the help and the graces necessary for my spiritual and temporal welfare. I ask particularly for the grace of a happy death and the special favor I now implore.
Guardian of the Word Incarnate, I feel animated with confidence that your prayers in my behalf will be graciously heard before the throne of God. O glorious Saint Joseph, through the love you bear to Jesus Christ, and for the glory of His name, hear my prayers and obtain my petitions.

Prayer for Sick Family or Friends

Lord Jesus, thank you that you love anthony(name removed by moderator) and abba. I know that you hate what their illness is doing to them. I ask, in the name of Jesus, that you would heal this disease, that you would have compassion and bring healing from all sickness.

Your word says in Psalm 107:19-20 that when we call out to you the Eternal one you will give the order, heal and rescue us from certain death. In the Bible, I have read of miraculous healing and I believe that you still heal the same way today. I believe that there is no illness you cannot heal after all the bible tells of you raising people from the dead so I ask for your healing in this situation.

I also know from my experience of life on earth that not everyone is healed. If that happens here than keep their hearts soft towards you, help them to understand your plan and help them to be excited about heaven.

Lord Jesus, thank you that our hope for healing is in you. If there are doctors or treatments that you would want to use to heal this disease I pray that you would guide anthony(name removed by moderator) and abba to them. I ask for wisdom and discernment about which treatments to pursue.

God, I thank you that these women belong to you and that you are in control of everything that happens from our first breath to our last sigh. Amen.

PRAYER TO THE TERMINALLY ILL

Lord, forgive them any sins that they may have committed.
If it is Your will,
raise them up to a healthy body and a sound mind
to serve the residue of their days
in Your service and to Your glory.
If it is not Your will to heal them,
then recognize them as a lamb of Your fold
and a sheep of Your flock.
Send Your holy angels to protect them
from all spiritual harm,
to guide and direct them,
to counsel and defend them.
Take them into the paradise
that You have prepared for those who love You.
Let them stand in the resurrection of the just on the Last Day

O St. JOSEPH, protector of those in agony, take pity on those
who at this very moment when I pray to thee are engaged in
their last combat.

O blessed Joseph, take pity on my soul too when the hour of
the final battle shall arrive for me. Then, O my holy patron, do
not abandon me, but grant me thine assistance; show that thou
art my good father, and obtain that my Divine Savior may receive
me with mercy into that abode where the elect enjoy a life
