Good morning, my Lord. . .

As You know, I’m more confused than ever as to where You want me to send SweetGirlOne for her Kindergarten next year. You know I even lost sleep over it last night. I’m so thankful You placed upon DH’s heart to come with us to the Catholic school Kindergarten round-up last night, and more thankful still that he liked what he saw! As You’re aware, DH wants to know what it will cost before agreeing to send her there. But, as You also know, I’m now more confused than ever as to whether to educate her here at home with the Virtual Academy, or whether to go ahead and place her in the Catholic school. Both seem like great programs, and I’m now more confused than ever.

Would You please make it clear to me what You want me to do? Why is this becoming such an agonizing decision?? I’ve tried to let it go and give it totally to You, Lord Jesus; take control again and open my eyes as to where You want her to go. I hate the unrest and uneasiness this Kindergarten decision is creating; will You take that away, Jesus? Will You settle on my mind and heart what You know to be best for her, and then settle it for good?

My friend, St. Teresa of the Andes, might I also ask your intercession on our behalf for SweetGirlOne’s Kindergarten, again? Schooling and family were very important to you on your wait to sainthood; I humbly ask your prayers for me in those regards.

All these things I ask, with a troubled and unsettled yet trusting heart, in the name of our Matchless Saviour Jesus, Amen. . .

Dear Lord, I ask first that You pour Your peace upon twosweetgirls, and help her to relax in Your arms and let You take control. Second, Lord, I ask that You guide her in the decision that matches Your will. But Lord, help her to understand that either decision can be reversed if it turns out to be wrong. In Jesus name we pray.

POWER KEY 5: HOW TO TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR DESTINY

Deuteronomy 30:19
I am now giving you the choice between life and death, between God’s blessing and God’s curse, and I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Choose life.

It’s choice – not chance – that determines your destiny. (Jean Nidetch)

Take full responsibility for your personal happiness and success. (Anthony Robbins)
  1. The Five Things You Should Choose
A. Choose your thoughts, for they become your words.

B. Choose your words, for they become you actions.

C. Choose your actions, for they become your habits.

D. Choose your habits, for they become your character.

E. Choose your character, for it becomes your destiny.

Romans 7:18-19
For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do – this I keep on doing.

Kings 18:21
Then Elijah went up to the people and said, “How much longer will it take you to make up your minds? If the Lord is God, worship him; but if Baal is God, worship him! But the people didn’t say a word.
  1. The Great Question You Need To Ask Yourself
Ask the best question ever: What is the wisest thing to do?

Proverbs 2:6
For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

Ecclesiastes 7:19
Wisdom makes one wise man more powerful than ten rulers in the city.

Action Plan:
Do you take responsibility for your happiness and success? In what area of our life are you not doing the wisest thing?

twosweetgirls, For your prayer request:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

God Bless You
