So, what’s for lunch today?

Sigh, whenever I don’t sleep well, I end up eating badly…pizza…greasy stuff…I read recently that one’s brain releases a chemical from lack of sleep that spurs appetite. Greeeat. :rolleyes:

Anyways, I’m supposed to be fasting today, but pizza sounds so good. :crying:

So…whatcha havin’ for lunch?

so, tuna from a can, or tuna steak over the salad?

my pizza sounds better. 😛
 
Remember, fasting is only REQUIRED on Good Friday and Ash Wed. Today is required to abstain from meat.

I will have tuna salad for lunch. Supper is up in the air.
 
I was *thinking *of a big, sloppy cheesburger or a cholesterol-loaded pizza with extra pepperoni. My arteries are hardening in anticipation! 🍕

Instead, I’ll probably have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. :gopray:

I’m about done with fish!

I have to admit that I like the (extraordinarily small) sacrifice. :getholy:

Hey now…yes, that’s a good idea. There is a fabulous pizza joint near where I work…ugh, to die for pizza. The guys that own it are from Philly…need I say more? :)👍

I will order a salad to go with, so I’m so bad, today. :o
 
Egg noodles with asparagus that needed eating up. I added a small bit of olive oil, mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese, and some Mrs. Dash. It’s pretty darn tasty for a quick throw together!

Oh my gosh, you go from having a sloppy cheeseburger fantasy, to peanut butter and jelly? lol That is a toughie…

I love fish, and so that’s for dinner…but, I can’t do it twice in one day…not TODAY, anyways…I just can’t resist the thought of that pizza dripping with sauce and cheese…yum.

This doesn’t seem sacrificing. 😊

hmmm…nice idea! I am at work, my choices are limited…but, I think I’ll try that for din-din some night. 🙂
 
I had a wrap with cashew butter, wheat germ, and banana; a pear; some almonds; chips and salsa; and a cheese string.

Fish fry at our parish mission tonight.

Hey - what parish do you belong to? I’m in SE Michigan also, my husband and I belong to Assumption Grotto.

We are having what I call “Fish Party” at our house tonight. Just a couple of friends and some fish in the oven with potatoes and a veggie. Nothing too fancy.

I have one of those tuna cup things that comes with crackers and some mayo that you mix into it. 😦

Sigh. I should brought a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich. I’m pretty much sick of fish too. I have to support the school tonight at the fish fry though.

Pizza always sounds better but it is not on my diet. I have lost 16 lbs since Jan 1 and have 2 more left to lose. Pizza is not on the list.

Thus I stick to my canned tuna and salad. But I have learned to love it up! 😃 Yum.
 
Left over waffles with fresh strawberries on top. Yum! Probably some whipped cream too 😊
But then what can you expect from the pregnant lady.
Mac and cheese or egg sandwhich for dinner probably.
 
While I am sticking to kiefer and hoping that it stays put, My kids are loving their french toast with canned strawberry syrup and blueberries.mmmm, Then I am sending them off to work our parish fish fry! I wanna go momma, please can I go. I have got to get over this flu!

Oh the only thing that sounds yummier that that cheesburger is a great thick steak grilled over a fire, with a great chive potato and grilled corn on the cob…oh summer come soon!

I’d love to see “The Grotto” one of these days. I live in Port Huron, but commute to Detroit everyday. My parish is “Holy Trinity Parish” which consists of St. Stephen’s, St. Joseph’s, and Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission, all of which are within Port Huron.

We had a “Fish Party” at our house last Good Friday. It was good times.
