Well, one thing you can see is that Roselily’s personal relationship with Jesus is the same as any devout Protestant’s…when she shared her Jesus prayer with us.

We are a communion of believers, we are part of a family that includes those who have gone on before us, and one of the great gifts of being Catholic is being in this communion and knowing Mary as our mother!

I agree with you. But I believe that the great gift is being in a relationship with Jesus our Savior no matter what religious group you are with as long as it honors our Savior, Lord and God. I also believe that Mary is our mother.
 
And we do…it is a wonderful experience to experience Mary with you facing Jesus in prayer…will never go back…it is not like I ask her to be with me 24/7, but I do ask her to be with me.

I am dust before God, I felt unworthy for His goodness! and I believe His mercy and goodness is mightier than our imagination.

I have prayed that our merciful Redeemer would come soon, that we can live to see His glory Kingdom come on earth.

May I ask you to pray for my former wife. She has liver cancer and it is now at stage 4. The treatment she was taking did no good. Without treatment the will work she has only 1year to 18 months before she is with God. Please pray for her she is a wonderful and a God loving lady. Thank you in advance for your prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about your wife. I have done alot of hospice cases. I will certainly pray for her in these days, so please keep us posted.

One thing also came to mind, …

Mary has the same desire as all of us…she wants all of us to come closer to her Son and she was closest of all…His very flesh and blood came from her.

I pray that the Lord will be your comfort and support in these times, and that your wife know the presence of heaven surround her and keep anything not of the Lord away from her.

Thank you but its not my wife, Its my former wife {x-wife} We have a good relationship and get along. She is a wonderful lady and don’t deserve this cancer.

I am consecrated to Mary through the Society of Mary, the Marists.

I found this description written by St. Ambrose and it hit a true chord in me of what she was like. St. Ambrose was an early church father and this image of Mary was passed down in the early church.

St. Ambrose in his “Treatise on Virgins”, has drawn for us this picture of Mary’s modesty: 'She was humble of heart, grave in expression, sober in words…reserved and discreet in conversation…careful to wound no one…full of thoughtfulness and consideration for the aged, whose presence it was her custom to rise. Far from arousing any envy among her companions, her manner towards them was free from anything suggesting pride or domination. As for assemblies of men, she was present only at those where charity needed not to blush or modesty to go veiled. No pride or harshness was ever traced in her expression, no undue freedom in her words, no lack of modesty in her bearing, no rudeness in her manner, no loudness in her tones, no carelessness in her walk…in a word, her bodily carriage was the counterpart of her soul, the reflection of her innocence and sanctity."

If only more women would look to Mary and learn from her. We don’t have the same constitution as men, and the Lord gives us a different calling of sanctity. He is calling us to a higher degree of purity than men…meaning, those who have to make a living in the hard world. I also think of the mothers abandoned who have to raise their children amidst so many dangers. May Mother Mary come to them, protect them, and guide them…
