The reason alot of people are leary of the concept of ‘social justice’ is that it is often used by those with an agenda that try to use government as either the " great equalizer " or as Big Brother Nanny " Government is meant to maintain general order, not to mandate outcomes or make everyone " the same " which in government speak means to make everyone equally controlled by the government. In a democratic republic we the people are supposed to be the ones in control. And we are the ones that are expected to help our neighbors, not through the government, but privately. Social justice is not a problem in and of itself, but the perversion of justice that means to allow government control or supreme caretaking is contrary not only to the intent of the US constitution, if one lives here, but also to the free will, and freely given compassion, of everyone everywhere. We shouldn’t trust the government, especially at national levels, to take care of us, or to mandate outcomes. That isn’t social justice, its social engineering.
