Prayer Warriors, please pray for a man named David. He will be having a hearing soon before a judge to determine if he is eligible for disability. He has been turned down twice already.

Pray that this time he will be approved. And please pray for his self esteem. He feels badly that he has to go on disability, and going through the red tape only makes it worse. (I understand this, as I went through it also.)

I will pray for David during my rosary tonite. I will pray that his self-esteem does not falter, as it should not due to his having to go on disability. There is no shame in that. I will pray that he finds strength in God’s mercy and in our Lady’s intercession. Please tell David he has a special “friend” keeping his personal intentions in my heart.

I too have gone through “begging” for my approval of disability. It took me 5 years. But, Thank God, it finally came through, so I know the desperation you feel.

Lord Jesus, I ask that you Bless David. Lord, give the Judge, the compassion to grant him the help that he needs. Open his heart and let him see that David is a man who is proud and sincerely needs this help. Thank You Jesus, for keeping David strong and steady. Surround him with your Angels Lord, send your Archangel Michael to do battle for him. Cover David with your Precious Blood, Lord. I beg you and petition these needs and lay them at the foot of your Cross. All of these things I ask in Your Name, Lord. AMEN AND AMEN

I should have added on: Free 1,000 souls. Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in Union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in Purgatory. Amen.

SS is a tough thing–I had friends of our family go through that. I will pray for David.
 
I have placed your petitions within my heart and will carry them with me to Mass and I will remember your petitions for David in my daily prayers.

I too had to apply for SS disability and it also took years to get. I was turned down many times and even went before the judge who determined that I was not disabled. Something happened and I was scheduled for a physical by SS and so I went. The doctor agreed that I could not work and said he would do what he could. I moved from one state to another and the decision was made in Florida, where I originally started the process and I won. I think the whole thing took 5 to 6 years.

My husband also had to apply and also was denied three times. I did not give up hope for he, as I was, were truly unable to have gainful employment. He was depressed and it got worse every time they denied him. We were hurting financially and I begged him not to give up and try one last time for I knew he would get it and he did. His took about the same amount of years I mine.

I will pray for David but please tell him to be patience and not give up hope. They are very picky of what is considered disabled. It helped me to look online for their definition of disabilty and read it in order to help my doctors word things just they way it was needed for them to understand that I was indeed disabled. If he has not had a complete physical, it will be worth it. You have to find one doctor to read all your medical records and do a physical on you. It cost me about $350.00 at the time for the doctor who did it for me. It helps if they are knowledgeable with the SS disability laws. My doctor was and he help me win SS finally.
