Society of Pope Leo the XIII

I came across this site for the Society Pope Leo the XIII. They are connected to the schismatic church in Brazil and appear to have a small number of churches around the world. The Society of Pope Leo the XIII has Pre Vatican II theology and liturgy (Latin)

They have a rather interesting chart comparing their Apostolic Succession with the previous and current Popes (ie similar).

My curiosity is that they have Papal Blessings for the Society and for some Bishops and clergy. How did they do that? I thought the church might be reticent to give Papal Blessings to schismatic groups even if they do acknowledge and respect the Pope.

*I put this here since it is not Roman Catholic in the sense of being in Communion with Rome.

Society of Pope Leo XIII “SPLXIII” I have for the past 3 years being studying this society. I am aware of quite a lot of things for example.
What is Schismatic! Who has declared the Society Schismatic ! By who’s authority!

We have to examine how the Society was formed and by whom. Are they valid Bishops in an unbroken line!

Lets examine the facts Schismatic referes to a church that breaks with Rome this makes them a Schismatic. No one has ever declared the Society as Schismatic, Upon my enqueries they are not Schismatic. No Papal office or decree has ever decreed the Society as Schismatic for adhering to the principals of Vatican I and holding the Holy Father as Infaa…etc to be honest their Vatican correspondance states that they are not Schismatics.

Their Prime Bishop was never a Roman Catholic Priest:thumbsup: he was ordained a Catholic Priest and consecrated a Catholic Bishop this makes a big difference. You are under Rome when you become a Rome Bishop and their household. But then when that Roman priest becomes a bishop outside of Rome this makes the bishop Schismatic and Illicit etc. Look closer at Rome and the Universal Laws. Not the basics we all read but the complicated stuff. :shrug:Also the prime Bishop of the Society does something that other societys outside of Rome do not do that is he acts only as the consecrator:thumbsup:. other societys as soon as the consecrate a bishop run off and consecrate dozens more. Therefore the apostolic line becomes so distant from the original Roman catholic bishop.
