The Society of St. Pius X professes filial devotion and loyalty to Pope Benedict XVI, the Successor of Saint Peter and the Vicar of Christ.
 
Though they are not sedevacantists, relations between SSPX and the Holy See have been strained and not in regular full communion.

I hope the lifiting of the excommunications will help facilitate this distressing situation.

When the situation is regularized, I’ll rejoice greatly!
