Making a pact with someone is NOT the same thing . Don’t conflate the two,

It hasn’t happened, it’s not possible, it can’t happen. Stop reading fantasy plots.

The only example that comes to mind is st Christopher. Unless you are a modernist and deny him.

But.

There are other cases involving contracts and invocations ect.

Witchcraft is a real thing my friend.

The onus is on you to show where in Vatican documents show that your claim is valid

The church has even documented werewolves.

For all I know these days the devil could be disguised as a Mercedes Benz.

You have Google look it up.

I have read all this before. I am passionate about it but I am not here to teach a class.

Also note I said pious legend. Doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened.

I note you are not providing any official evidence for your claim

Now you are also going to have to provide proof, official Vatican proof of werewolves too.

Neither are you in it’s denial. I don’t need to prove what I know to you.

Paladin sword, The person who makes such claims is responsible for validating and verifying them. This isn’t an episode of the Twighlight Zone.

We await your verification and validation with interest

I mean like the odds i get that is only 1% and I get it after thinking about it…

Sorry for being weird…
It is IMPOSSIBLE to sell your soul. Everybody has until their dying breath to be saved.

It might require final impenitence. Point is it’s not like people haven’t tried.

And also if they are given over to depravity God has withdrawn his mercy and no they don’t. We are numbered.

Yes it is because people go to hell on purpose. And sometimes after a conditional contract.

God’s mercy might be an ocean but it isn’t to be presumed upon either.

This is modernism.

When the thought comes just stay away from the action that may cause the gain. Like if you play a game and the thought comes stop playing the game.
You can’t trade your soul but you can come in contact with spirits you shouldn’t who can deceive you that yoi lost your soul and despair. This is what they want from you - to despair.
Try avoiding situations that usually make you wish you would do anything to win like games of chance and luck or risky sports.
And say the Jesus prayer more often. Ask Him for help more often so it becomes reflex to you to go Him not just anywhere to anyone who might help.

Sure he was redeemed but there are cases where people weren’t.

The article you gave also contained the idea of despair as a tool to lead the man to ritually sell his soul. And this is what I mentioned. So how wise is it to just scare someone who fears that one thought may have been ritual to actively sell their soul as the OP? The OP is just being tempted don’t you think?
The article shows that the selling is an entire process not just one random thought.
It is unclear to me that even traded souls are actually traded or is it not more of a case when one becomes a worker for evil. Which in many cases no ritual is necessary … if we look around. Because if God would have allowed the soul to be traded as in the man’s soul is actual in full evil posession then how, with what did he find the way back to God if he had no soul?
Anyway your example shows that to sell soul by accident is not possible it is an entire process, right? To answer the OP question.
