I’m just grinding your gears. St Thomas Aquinas refutes the idea that God gives infinite grace to all peoples in the summa theologica.

It’s ok though. Every planet has a Scotland.

And it’s not the size of the cross that matters… it’s that someone died on it.

The fact that he is here clearly indicates that he has not fully “sold” his soul. That would imply that his will was totally fixed to evil and away from God.
 
I don’t know why I am still here… And we kind of got off topic but…

This is probably simply a case of intrusive thought harassment or temptation… None of which should be worried about and probably pretty normal for most of us.

Being wrong does not make someone a liar. What counts is what the Church teaches and not what an individual’s position is.
In the case of Aquinas he did not believe in the Immaculate Conception.
 
The church also thought Joan of arc was a witch. What is your point?

I am not even a huge fan of Aquinas but he is still doctor of the church.

So what? Views of individual saints/doctors of the Church are not teachings. Any of their views that contradict the Church are wrong. If you want to read what the Church teaches read the CCC.

The Rosary is a private devotion and nothing at all to do with Church doctrine.
We are discussing Church doctrine which you appear to be rejecting when you say a person can sell their soul.
I repeat that if you want to know what the Church actually teaches then read the CCC. Waste of time referring to individuals.
 
You are wasting your time. What you are quoting is not a Church teaching.

Church teaching has never changed. I think it is you who is behind the times.

I ma still waiting to see if anyone in this thread will jump to your defence or are you saying you are right and the Church and all of us are wrong.

Not everything that exists or is within our tradition is in the catechism…

Not everything is required to be believed to be saved… But that in no way means it does not exist.
