So wait… how does repeating pious legends and private revelations kept in church tradition and taught in homilies for centuries by respectable clerics and saints make me a heretic again?

It doesn’t. You don’t even seem to read posts carefully. If you obstinately reject an infallible teaching of the Church that is heresy.
I have kept telling you throughout this thread you are not talking about Church teachings but you are pushing what you have posted as being true. Well my friend its not true if it contradicts Church teachings.

Pious legends and private revelations are NOT part of the Deposit of Faith. They are not doctrines and nor do they change or add to Church doctrines.
Catholics are free to believe whatever as long as it does not contradict Church teachings.
 
I don’t have to prove anything. YOU are the one who says a person can sell their soul. That contradicts Church teaching. You should be able to answer your own question. I don’t know your mind. For all I know you are just playing games with everyone in this thread especially with all the childish things you are posting.

I don’t have teachings nor do I interpret teachings. The Church has teachings which have NEVER changed.

You have not given us anything that is an actual Church teaching.

The Church teaches that everyone has until their dying day to repent and be saved. You deny this or have I misunderstood you when you say a person can sell their soul to the devil which in essence would mean that they could not repent and be saved before they die. If I have not misunderstood then your view contradicts the Church
 
As everyone else in this thread has left because of you I will now have the common sense to do the same. Feel free to rant on meaninglessly.
 
You are still using the logic of if you buy something and return it it means you never went to the store. And yes misunderstood much of what I said. Assuming everyone has until their dying day may be acceptable most of the time but is not the case when they have become so corrupted they are given over to depraved mind and or the Holy Spirit is no longer working in their lives or has been increasingly begruged. This is a slippery slope that leads one to presumption of the mercy of God which is abuse of his mercy and justice which can be a mortal sin. Note I said things like final impenitence. It is not the point whether or not someone is ultimately damned or has no choice that I am making… it is the concept of pacts with Satan as a reality that I am emphasizing. You are missing the point. But I like being called childish and a heretic because it feels great. I am still waiting for you to cite your sources… are you sure I’m the one playing games? All I’ve done to contradict myself is be baited into returning here after I have come to the conclusion several times that a lot of people here simply do not understand how these concepts work or have quite a lack of faith in mysterious things.

The blood of Christ may cover many sins but we can only be redeemed if we choose to be. And the very fact that we can even repent is still dependent on the Grace of God.
