Different people are aroused and tempted by different things.
I am pretty sure that there is a canon law (or similar) that prevents priests from asking questions about sexual sins, apart from the bare minimum to ensure the validity of the confession, precisely because there are some priests who could be aroused. Some may be aroused by women’s stories, others by men’, whatever…, and others, not at all.
If it were me, I could be aroused. In fact, one of the posts here started to trigger me.
We all have different weak spots. For example, I am fairly casual with leaving my valuables (phone, wallet, carry bag, etc.) unattended in a church or a place I consider “safe” because I would never steal someone else’s property, or even consider it. For me, unattended valuables are no temptation. I was told to not do this, not so much because I might lose the item, but because I “shouldn’t tempt others”. I think in the old days it was called “being the occassion of another’s sin”.
