you might want to ask over in the Eastern Catholic board,…are you wanting to know differences between the Coptic Orthodox and the Coptic Catholics or between the Coptic Orthodox and the Latin/Roman Catholics?Hi guys, i hope this is in the right sectio, I know its been a really long times since I have posted anything here. But I was a little unclear about the main differences between the two? Are the similar or completely different. Are they really different but I am roman catholic so would it be okay to listen to some hymns?

I’ve read statements from both Eastern and Oriental Orthodox which state we all have the same Christological beliefs, they just emphasize the united nature of Christ while we emphasize the two aspects.The Coptic Orthodox reject papal supremacy and infallibility.
They reject the filioque.
They also reject every council after Ephesus in 434. They speak of one nature of Christ, whereas Catholics would speak of two natures. As a result they are often (mistakenly) called monophysites.
Plus some other less central issues.
