  1. If you are intending to get married, your marriage should be open to children. Having children and raising a family is one of the primary purposes of marriage. This is probably an issue you should work out before marriage.
  2. Yes, you can get married after menopause. God was the one that closed the marriage to the possibilty of procreation in this circumsatance, rather than humans deciding.

Yes, you can get married if you are unsure about children, as long as you honestly promise to be open to children. And, of course that means not using any contraception. For just reasons, one can use NFP to space or avoid for a time or indefinitely.

Yes, you can get married after menopause. Infertility/sterility are not impediments to marriage. One must simply be capable of performing the marriage act (sexual intercourse).

And, lastly, your question about same-sex attraction is more complex. I believe that would require serious spiritual direction and guidance from a priest, and also full disclosure to the intended spouse. There is no specific teaching on this matter. If one can be faithful to one’s spouse, and live out married life fully then certainly one could marry. But, if by “homosexual tendencies” you mean an exclusive attraction to the same sex and no attraction to the opposite sex, I don’t see how that could work in practice as a marriage involves sexual intimacy. Again, it would be under the guidance of serious spiritual direction that one would discern such a matter.

Yeah, I had a convo w/ my atheist boss and some of these things came up. thanks for your responses

About having kids, if you do get married and are unsure about kids, and you have no just reason to use NFP (as in your reason is that you just don’t want kids) then you’re only option is to not have sex.
