I follow what has been stated by the Roman Catholic Church, it doesn’t matter to me what my “Catholic” neighbor thinks. They may or may not have a well formed conscience and a proper understanding of what it means to be a catholic. The church has one stance and they are there to help me on my walk with Christ, to develope a well formed conscience and a proper understanding of the truth, left to us in the Bible and Tradition. I really don’t see the point in discussing this any further.
That’s unfortunate. Folks say there is one truth and I ask them to state the one truth. Then they say they don’t want to discuss it anymore.

That’s true, I’m sorry I don’t want to discuss it, it’s just so old to me. Maybe you could start a thread about it, I’m sure there are others who are willing to discuss truth. I also don’t like how when you do answer someones question, they ignore your answer and ask something else.
The whole question harkens me back to Pilot when he asked Jesus; Truth? What is truth? and he was speaking to the truth.

…we can and do have an objective and empirically-based definition of a human being and a human person, and that, other than conceptually, one cannot really split a human being from a human person. “Personhood” begins when the human being begins - at fertilization…
This article by Dianne N. Irving Scientific and Philosophical Expertise****an evaluation of the arguments on “Personhood” answers the question at length.

On the front page of Sunday Intelligencer from suburbian Philadelpia yesterday there was a story about a 7 month old premature baby who was given a **1% **chance to live at birth.
The doctors at Abington hospital asked the mother and father if they wanted to procede with treatment! I guess the UK is behind the times. Anyway the baby is now out of danger with only slight scar tissue on her lungs that should go away with time. Praise God, the father stated the situation bought him back to church and the babys name is Gianna!
