Some ugly stuff about the original "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" TV series

I remember that show! I loved it as a kid. Kimberly, the pink ranger, was the first girl I ever had a crush on. Tommy was my favourite ranger, though. :cool:
 
I’m holding out for the bullet point list of what the ugly stuff was.

When I think of Saban, I remember the Saban Sailor Moon (pilot? promo?) I once saw at an anime convention… 🙂 This is all Youtube brings up there…
 
I actually don’t remember this show! Just the animated version that was popular a few years later. We always considered it very lame though.

Low pay for grueling work and poor (and sometimes dangerous) working conditions. The actors also never received residuals, meaning they only got paid a low amount for the original work they did, and saw nothing from the many reruns their show had.

Unless they were cheated out of “residuals” due to them according to the contract they signed, i am not sure why i should care. Thieir “low” pay must have been agreed upon before the work began.
