Hello guys, I watched the Movie Crocodile Dundee the other day and there is a scene in there where the girl’s bottom half was pretty exposed in a thong. I kept my eyes above the waistline but I saw the bottom out of me peripherials. I know I should’ve just looked away. But I didn’t know the scene was coming until she started to undress. Is this a mortal sin that I have committed and or is it pornography? Thanks.
 
Did you have any sexual thoughts during it? Did you dwell on the thought?
 
No not on that scene. It’s not like I replayed it or anything. It’s been bugging me though. I just don’t know
 
I don’t think it is a sin then, but I could be wrong. Remember a mortal sin is grave matter, full knowledge, full consent.
 
So no? I just have been beating myself over it and praying for an answer. BTW what does this aroused word mean? I have seen it a few times but I don’t know what it means.
 
In fact after that scene I was scared to watch so I distracted myself with my phone 😁
 
please ask your priest , any advice we give you could lead to scruples or great big misunderstandings.
 
Ok so ask my priest. Should I not receive communion until I have?

Please listen to his advice when he gives it. You are young and just forming your catholic conscience. Its a delicate time, and you are questioning these things and wondering.

Now I am Australian and would say our beaches are full of this swimming costume. So I would imagine a priests guidance on these matters is what you need.

Guys believe me I am doing everything I can to try to stay away from bad things but it almost seems like every time I look, there is something bad or a temptation there for me. I’m just so… I don’t know. I can’t seem to do anything right. 😞
