Yes, but the problem of such understanding is that it could be misinterpreted; humility does not seal the person into predestination; those who are predestined (all of humanity) labor to become Children of God (Believing in Jesus) and are granted the Seal of the Holy Spirit (Baptism which Saves) but are still Commanded to Abide in Christ (without me you can do nothing).

The works that the non-Catholics reject are the demonstration (as humility) that a person is in True Fellowship with Christ, and a coheir as a child of God.

The book of Apocalypse (Revelation) does offer a window of a designated crowd (not the Jehovah Witnesses 144K) but the thousands upon thousands who made their robes clean by the Blood of the Lamb (these could very well be the Priests that you’ve mentioned); yet, Salvation, though freely granted to all can be lost if we separate ourselves from Christ.

It is by remaining in God that we do not lose our Salvation and that God’s Justification and Predestination come to Full Fruition.

Maran atha!
