I talked to a friend on the phone today. We met a few weeks ago and are starting to become really good friends. I love talking to her and spending time with her, and she says it’s nice to be around someone who is mature for my age and who is respectful. I would be lying if I said I didn’t like her, but I don’t think anything romantic is going on. My sister and her husband say that it’s totally turning romantic though, especially considering we talked on the phone tonight for two hours and forty minutes, and at the end she asked about when it would be best to have another conversation on the phone (We live a few hours away, so must of our interaction is through Facebook and phones). I don’t think that’s necessarily romantic, though. She could just like me as a friend and like talking to me. They seem to disagree and say that it is more romantic than I think it is. What do you think?
Please don’t start a fight. Just answer and move on with your day. There’s no reason to kill someone for having a different opinion on something as trivial as two teenagers talking on the phone.
