In thanksgiving for your son and his family’s sacrifice – we are blessed nation. And for The Lord to continue to hold them all in the palm of His Hand.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle,
be our protection against the malice
and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him we humbly pray;
and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits
who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen.

Heard today that there may be a problem in recruits receiving our mail. My son’s letters have been focused on how his family is and what is going on here which tells me he is very concerned about home. He needs to be focused on accomplishments there. Without our letters to tell him we are managing fine (we don’t send any bad news) and sending our love and encouragement this is going to be much harder for him. Please pray he receives our mail. That breaks my heart.

Sjegts,
The organization that helps the military and their families can be
contacted on the internet. usacares.org
I was given a local number and the gentleman I spoke to asked
more about the situation (I will pm you about the questions) but
he seemed to think that they would be able to help in some way.
I posted their web address because it is one that others may want
to check and maybe support. I know it is one I’ll support.
God bless you.

Your generousity is overwhelming. I am printing this and sending it to my son - (portions) - he is not to have bad news. And it put a smile on my DIL’s face. Special thanks to TexCatholic for the valuable information. I am praying for each of you and whatever special intentions you may have. God bless you all.

May the Lord hear your prayers for your son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.

May God help them and all service families in their difficulties and in their painful separations from each other.

May the Lord keep your son and all those in active service safe and close to Him. May He help their families to flourish with courage, love, and grace.

God bless you,
Trishie
