We ask Lord that you would bless this dear mother and her son. May the peace of Christ which the world cannot give, consol and speak to the depth of this son of yours, who’s soul desires inner healing, beneath this veil of anger. Surround this family with love, support and encouragement during this time of great trial and anguish. We pray also for the repose of the father’s soul. With all the angels and saints in Christ’s powerful intercession we pray:

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls.
:signofcross: Amen.
all my sympathy for your loss and all my prayers for T.J. and you.

Hail Mary Full of Grace
The Lord is with Thee
Blessed art thou among women
Blessed is the fruit of thy womb
Jesus
Holy Mary mother of God
Pray for us sinners now
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Prayers for you and your son. Please seek counseling for him. God bless you in all of your struggles. 🙂

One of you suggested that I take one of the few “calm” moments, and talk to him.

Since I have insomnia, I’ve been praying the Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, and the St. Michael prayer, constantly - all night.
I got up late today, and pulled out my Rosary, and told TJ that I was offering it for him, and for Tom’s other 4 grown children living down South.
He didn’t yell that I was saying it for him.😉

Then I did some decades, and said “Tommy, I know how you feel about God, but could you TRY to give Him a chance, and try to not be so mad at Him? It’s not really good to insult God… OK?”
Without screaming at me, he said “OK, I’ll try”…

He’s always been so responsive to prayer, and I’m very grateful to all of you for your prayers.

When he was 2, he would give me, and his Dad, SERMONS! Just like a preacher, telling us to be better, stop hating, and that the Holy Spirit did not like how we were behaving. This from a 2 year old! It’s been like this through his life.

That’s why it’s bothering me so much that he’s going through this “hating God”, “angry at God” time.

Thank you, all. He’s my “miracle child”. He’s got a lot of people, angels, and Saints, and deceased family members, praying for him.
God bless all of you!
xoxoxo

Lord - please help TJ to accept the death of his dad and find happiness again, and help Trisha to guide him through this tough time.

Amen.

:grouphug: I wanted to give you all an update…

Things are still rough with my little guy, but, in September, I’ve signed “us” up for “group counseling”. They split up the kids by age groups, and give age appropriate help for them.
I told him (Tommy) that “we” will be going to this, and he’s not thrilled - but I told him “we” needed it. The counseling is actually for the children. If “I” need counseling, they offer a separate group for me.

Mass is still a rough issue. I’m taking it one week at a time. I’m praying on this…

TJ starts “middle school” next week. We moved to a nearby town, and one of his friends is at this school, so it will be a little easier. I’d hoped this young man would be in TJ’s homeroom, but that didn’t happen. But, one of my angel friends, who died after suffering over 5 years from cancer, gave me a little blessing. Her little girl, who lost her Mommy a week before I lost my Mommy, is in my son’s class. It will be good for both of them. They’ve grown up together, and I’m sure they’ll support each other through some of the rough times. A wonderful gift from Jesus and Sandi…

Thank you, so very much 👍 for all of your prayers. I’m so grateful. Peace and thanks to every one of you.:harp:

Praying for you and your son. May God heal both of you. God Bless.

Continued prayers …

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

I will add you both to my prayer intentions. Have you contacted you a consuler for your son? or talked to your priest about it? He is just really confused about what happened and more then likely is wanting anwsers. I will definately keep yall in prayers. Also ask St. Maria Goretti to pray for him as well as John Paul II, both lost parents at a young age.

God’s Blessing

Oh, dear prayer folks… My son needs prayers.
My husband, his Dad, died in Jan. '07. He was 9 1/2 when Dad died. He is 11 now, with puberty starting. He’s a mess.

I tried to get him to Mass today, and the entire ride there was “I hate God. I’ll always hate Him. I want to kill God. I’m gonna burn down all the Churches” and on and on.

He’s not ready to be left home alone, so I can go to Church without him, and he is suicidal, so I can’t even leave him alone.

He needs your prayers - please. I need prayers, too, so I’ll get guidance as to where to get help for my boy.

He has SO MUCH anger - always wants to punch something.

Please pray for him (his name is TJ). It’s been a rough day, or I would put more here that’s been going on. Right now, I just beg you for your prayers.

Thank you all.
Patricia
Find a good reliable, Catholic if possible, therapist who has a lot of experience dealing with children. This child needs someone to talk to.

This is a wonderful idea. St. Maria Goretti - beautiful child, and my favorite fellow Polish guy, John Paul II!
Thanks so much…!
I’m going to them now. I hadn’t realized they lost their parents at a young age. Thank you for that information.

I need to sit down with the school counselor. We had counseling for him right after Daddy died - but that didn’t work out. It was one on one. I’m hoping the “group” counseling in a couple weeks works better. I also signed him up for numerous clubs after school - to keep him busy, and to let him see that there is more to do than be sad.

All you folks have been so wonderful…and I’m really grateful.
Thanks.👍
