Son needs to move on

Hello Everyone!
I would like to request prayers for my son Michael. He is 35 years old and lives with us. He is not employed and has not held a steady job in 8 years. To make a long story short, he initially came home to help (for a brief period of time) after a sudden illness (2001) and has yet to leave.
We love him with all our hearts and are most appraciative for his help, however, he needs to move on and get out and get a life.

My prayer request is that the Risen Christ come down and ***enlighten & motivate ***him to look in earnest for a job, save his money and move out.
I am asking that all who read this “thread” to please, offer Michael up in prayer.

Imn2Faith, Hi and welcome. We have a somewhat similar situation in our family. I’ll include Michael in my prayers prayed for our family member.

Lord, Jesus Christ, please reach out to Michael. Show him the joy which can be had from honest employment, show him that he can find happiness in his own home.

St. Cajetan, patron of the unemployed please pray that Michael finds honest employment at a wage that will support him when he moves from his parents’ house.

Hello To all of you!
I was a bit skeptical about asking for prayers. I am not usually one to take part in a “online group” of any kind but I am at my wits end.
This is something that has been weighing heavy on my mind and heart for such a long time. I just want to Thank you so much for your prayers and kind thoughts.
You all have shown me that there is HOPE, and I am greatful for that.

God Bless each and everyone of you and may He keep you in His care.

O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, turn your ear to my prayer. Amen
