Son with violent temper

Please pray for my son, he was married in civil marriage, he was baptised Catholic. He always had a very bad temper. I adopted him and worried he would take this out on his wife. Well he does, he yells and is so disrespectful. He has been through domestic abuse counselling. I believe he needs to turn to the Lord. Please pray for him and his family.
 
You know, St. Jerome had a very bad temper too! I will pray for the intercéssion of St. Jerome for thy son.

Father, Your Son, our Lord Jesus, promised that when we come together in agreement on any matter in conformity to your will, you would grant it to us. We beg you to bring Svanecek’s son back to you and to your Church. We ask that the whole earth would become a witness to Holy Name of Jesus to which every knee must bend in the heavens and on the earth so that Svenecek’s son will acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of God the Father. We pray that, as he does this, he would be healed of his anger and his hurt and his bad temper, and that his home would become a refuge of peace instead of a Battlefield.

Thank you for your prayers. I just talked to a man 88 yr old. he has his 9 yr old great grandson that he rescued from abusive family. He said he gently talks to his great grandson everynight about anything he wants to talk about. Last night his grandson asked him how old he was when he first kissed a girl. It was sweet. But he explained to me that even loud voices or yelling is abuse. He believes God is keeping him here for his great grandson’s sake.
 
Dear Lord please guide this man to recognise his temper and be able to control it.Please
heal him as he has suffered much emotional distress in his life,perhaps adoption made him feel insecure about himself and his origins.Lord please love him and may he feel loved in return

Maybe I’m getting a little too old, but I don’t see how committing Felony Assault & Battery is going to help the situation. You’re just going to have one very ticked off “kid” in a man’s body who’s going to take this out on his wife or his kids.

I once met a kid whose father was the subject of just that kind of intervention. By the time his father was finished taking his anger out on him, he had broken the kid’s nose, cheekbone, eye-socket, and his jaw-bone, along with a couple of other bones. It took the doctors at the local Children’s Hospital 9 surgeries to put him back together again. Remember, the bum you want to “teach a lesson to” has kids at home he can “take it out on”.

Think about it before you suggest Assault & Battery or something similar.
