The song isn’t sinfull. It’s just an expression of misunderstanding about God. It’s honest

It sounds like someone disappointed. Someone who believes in God and that is good. Someone who has conceptualized God as small.

" I found God on the corner…’

Small eneogh to believe that God should be living up to their expectations instead of the other way around.

" where were you when everything was falling apart?"

This person seems to have been through a painfull break-up. They are honest eneogh to admit to insecurities. Lying on the floor and surrounded seems to mean that there were people willing to help but the help they were offering was not acceptable because help up felt like out.

God didn’t present a presence directly because His will already surrounded this person when they were lying on the floor.

lying on the floor surrouned, surrounded
Why did you have to wait?

God couldn’t untill the person stopped giving to the person that left them what belonged to God

" you got some nerve taking all that I want"

The pain of the break-up is still to raw for them to realize that it is a good thing.

Just a little late. you found me

They will realize sometime in the future that everything they wanted lacked good and in that knowldedge they will know God didn’t do what they wanted because God is good.

Why did you have to wait to find me. To find me?:twocents:
