Hey, Girl - Johnny Mathis

(I feel about him the way Lily feels about the Moody Blues, and John IS the third largest selling recording artist ever, behind the Beatles and Elvis. His album “Johnny’s Greatest Hits” was on Billboard’s “Top 100” for 490 straight weeks, a record that was only broken by Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon.” Of course, he’s my neighbor and friend, too, so I’m a bit prejudiced! He even babysat me when I was little. 😎 )

The Most Beautiful Girl In the World - Johnny Mathis

(Thanks, @Jeanne_S I did not know who did the original. Yes, John’s voice is amazing! He is one of the few popular singers who studied voice for years, He was even offered a contract with an opera company. I admit, I’m very prejudiced, but his voice is amazing and perfect for the romantic songs he sings.)

“Beautiful, Beautiful” by Francesca Battistelli. Part of this music video was filmed in a Catholic church, even though (as far as I know) Ms. Battistelli herself is not Catholic.

I grew up listening to Johnny Mathis .My older sister had his albums.I always thought he was really good looking too☺️

He still is quite good looking, and still touring every month except August, which he devotes to golf. Plays golf every day he’s home in LA. Has since the 1960s

The Day Begins - The Moody Blues

(Lodgey and Gray are golfers too. Maybe they’d like to play a round with Mathis.)

Begin the Beguine - Johnny Mathis

(I’m sure he’d love to play a round with them, Lily. He loves playing golf with new people! Says that’s how you really get to know someone.)
