Listen to “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Simon and Garfunkel. It is altogether, simply beautiful. My interpretation of the lyrics is God sings the song to us, saying “I will lay me down” for each and every one of us.

Smoke on the Water - Deep Purple

Yesterday by the Beatles, Hurt by Johnny Cash, The Last Goodbye by Billy Boyd, or On My Own from Les Miserables. Those are four of the saddest songs in the world.

Welcome to the thread. The basic rule is that you choose a song with a word in the title that is also in the last song title posted. OR choose a song by the same artists as the last poster.

For example, CRV posted “What’s New Pussycat” by Tom Jones.

Using the word “New”, you could go with:

“Made New” by Lincoln Brewster.

Jailhouse Rock - Elvis Presley

By the way, sorry 'bout that. Didn’t know that was how it worked.
