O Holy Night usually knocks the wind out of my sails (in a good way)

this may sound strange, because it did to me, but my mother said she wanted this sung at her funeral. God Bless you! This song has brought me to my knees too

I find that many songs during Communion will make me tear up, after I have received his body and i am in my pew on my knees… maybe sounds silly, but is true. i like this song too youtu.be/DvPCjVWFXJw

Growing up, my parish priest and the cantor would sing a stunning rendition of O Holy Night at the Christmas vigil mass that was amazing.

I really love some of the stripped down acoustic versions of the songs “Oceans”, “Touch The Sky”, and “Say The Word” by Hillsong United. I have heard them played during praise and worship style Adoration before and they were really moving. Their Album “Of Dirt and Grace: Live From The Land” has really intimate versions of these songs being performed at various locations in the Holy Land.

Another good one that moved me in prayer during Adoration was “It Is Well” by Bethel Music. I heard it at a conference, played by Ike Ndolo and Sarah Kroger and was the best version of it I have ever heard.

“O Sacred Head Surrounded”, makes me cry every time I hear it.
