Songs That Help Fight Temptation

I thought this would be an interesting thread since there are a lot of questions recently about how to fight different sins or temptations or what is and what isn’t sinful. Most of these should be answered by a Priest in person, but I think its helpful a lot of times when in temptation, to pop in some earbuds and listen to some holy music. Sometimes this music gives us just the kick we need to remain pure and holy.

What songs do you think are good to listen to when in temptation? Put the link or names below!

I think this song is great to listen to whenever someone is in temptation to impurity. The lyrics are really touching, very powerful song. Also very powerful during Eucharistic Adoration.

Holy songs makes more sense, but I was thinking any ridiculous song that just takes over and sticks in your head might work too:

Also speaking as a person in recovery it’s better to just find a way to stop thinking about whatever tempts you instead of thinking “I don’t need it.” Just my two cents

Anything that moves the mind, really, from Gregorian Chant up through Bach. It’s difficult to follow through any grave temptation when faced with such great beauty and musical complexity that we can help but try to unweave.
