John 1I don’t see God incarnate in any of those verses.
I read on here not long ago that Jesus’ soul was incorporated 4 months into Mary’s gestation, so roughly 2012 years and a half years ago would be my answer IF Christ had been born in the year zero, which many believe he wasn’t.If sons of God are angels, then at what point in history did THE Son of God become God incarnate?
Can you provide a quote for that? What do you mean by ‘Jesus’ soul’? Doesn’t sound quite Christian… some gnostic gnonsense gno doubt!I read on here not long ago that Jesus’ soul was incorporated 4 months into Mary’s gestation, so roughly 2012 years and a half years ago would be my answer IF Christ had been born in the year zero, which many believe he wasn’t.
forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=645007&highlight=bl.+emmerich see post #8 (sorry, I can’t quote a single post, if you know kindly PM me). It’s three months into the pregancy rather than the 4 months originally believed, my bad. It’s from private revelation to Blessed Anne Emmerich so you’re free to accept it or not, personally not having interest in anything gnostic, I haven’t made up my mind whether it was at the instant of conception or later on in the pregnancy, I’ll wait till I get perfect tuition on these matters when/if I enter Heaven. That’s for Christ, for the rest of us I believe that a soul is there pretty much at the moment of conception. Can you provide a quote for that? What do you mean by ‘Jesus’ soul’? I am aware that Aqunias seemed to believe in ‘ensoulment’, but I dont think the Church agrees, which is the basis for the anti-abortion stand.
I do not believe it is Gnostic. I have read Gnostic texts, and they are not much different from the canonized Gospels. Can you provide a quote for that? What do you mean by ‘Jesus’ soul’? Doesn’t sound quite Christian… some gnostic gnonsense gno doubt!
No, that’s fine. Thanks. I did a wee bit of research on Bld Anne Emmerich. It turns out that her visions were set in writing herself, but by a poet, who interviewed her, and wrote his books ten or so years after the interview with Bld Anne. Also, he was only able to take basic notes because he didn’t understand the dialect Anne spoke! So, it may have been a misunderstanding, or a misinterrutation!forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=645007&highlight=bl.+emmerich see post #8 (sorry, I can’t quote a single post, if you know kindly PM me). The writings did not form part of Anne’s cause, and were not instrumental in her being made a Blessed.
