I rarely watch True Blood since it is near pornography much of the time.
But I do read the Sookie Stackhouse novels.

To me it is a good escape from everyday life.

I am aware there is no such thing as vampires, shifters, weres, and fairyies. But they are so entertaining.

Does anyone else read these novels?

I started reading a couple years ago but never made it through the first novel. I don’t know what happened. I just put it down and forgot to ever pick it up again.

I’ve read all of them. I’ve really enjoyed most of them. The one that came out recently was so bad IMO that I won’t buy anymore of them. As for the HBO series. I liked the 1st two seasons, but this last one was horrible.

True Blood seems to be winding down as all HBO series do, sadly. No spoilers please, but I haven’t read the latest Stachouse novel yet I still have about 50 pages to go on the next to last.

I won’t do you that. The truth is that I don’t remember a thing that happens in it. I read it when it first came out.

I love the books. And while the last few books haven’t been as good as the earlier ones, I still enjoy them. I’m sad that the books are coming to an end though:(
I admit, I do watch the tv series. As long as i keep reminding myself not to comPare them to the books, I do enjoy it. And I have a tad bit of a crush on tv show Eric:)

You can have Eric. I’ll take Alcide.

You are right about not comparing the two. Each have their good and bad points.
