Dearest Lord,
We entrust (name) to your undying mercy and love.
While in this life, they felt much pain and found life difficult.
May you enfold them now with your love where no pain can find them, but rather your love can heal them.
Make them Guardian Angels for those who struggle with life, for those who struggle to see you and the love that is around them.
Give them Lord, kind admittance to your Kingdom and bring comfort to their families.

Her was ruled a suicide by hanging. She was found hanging in her dorm. Scary part of all of this is that everyone around her said she had such a positive attitude and her family visiting her a week earlier saw no problems. She was also on the premed track and in the same year as me, so, it feels odd that I’ve never encountered her before. And I have had student athletes in my classes before, so it’s not like they do all of their STEM work in the summer. I often think it was the academic pressure and dismal grades that drove her to it. The life of a student athlete is insane and this is an institution with grade deflation in the sciences and athletes are not let off easy.
Anyway, services are scheduled for Wednesday. Pray we don’t lose another student.

I just got another email and the medical examinar confirmed that she took her own life, though, the method was not specified. This is the third student this school year that died, second by suicide. Please pray for the repose of her soul and family.
