Do you believe Brian was quite influential?
Very much so, though it depends on what kind of music we’re talking about. It’s uncommon for someone to have such a large influence on both rock music and electronic music. I could be biased because I’m an ambient musician and a producer, which are the areas he’s had his most influence.

I have always thought of George Martin as a monster when it came to producing music. To me he has been the pinnacle of that role - at least, in a post 1950’s world.

Eno’s early influence with Roxy Music and his collaboration with Robert Fripp made him a standout in certain circles. I always thought of him as more an underground music hero, at least in the States.
