If this premise is true, why is the entire nation of Japan not gay? Shouldn’t they at least have elevated numbers of gays? Soy milk, soy pudding (ick!), tofu, edame…

If you read some of the articles you’ll find that Asians don’t tend to eat as much unfermented soy as Americans do…

It’s a staple of their diet… but in my lower quantites than Americans tend to indulge in.

lets not forget the air…especially around NY/NJ:eek:
Urban pollution and now there is reports of methanine (sp?) gas from cows hurting us out in the country and I grew up on a dairy farm :whacky:

I’m no expert but it has been proven that being born can lead to death:D

you mean boys playing with dolls and girls playing with trucks does not tuen them gay:rolleyes:
Do people actually think that garbage is true??
Some do, usually those trying to prove the validity of the homosexual lifestyle. I personally loved playing with cars and army guys when I was a child (I’m female) and I love my daughter’s dad (hopefully one day we’ll marry if he is granted a dissolution of his marriage, he’s civilly divorce).

oh please…(regarding the toys) people really have to much time on their hands!

In regards to your dd father…that is for another thread:(

Commercially raised Beef, Chicken and Pork
http://www.endo101.com/cattle1.gifCommercially raised livestock are routinely given xenoestrogens to fatten them up, grow quickly, and cause them to retain water. This results in greater profits for the farmer. It is an effective, cheap, quick way to fatten them up. In the 1970’s and 1980’s there was an epidemic in Puerto Rico of early puberty in girls as young as a year old and even young boys who developed breasts caused by meat and dairy products containing high levels of estrogen. In the United States, the use of estrogen compounds is now slightly better regulated, but it is still very much used and abused.

While I do think this should be taken with a grain of salt, esp. since statistics may show something coincides but there may be no correlation, I do avoid most soy products. Why? Because I want to be as fertile as possible :D. I still eat soy products (I’m lactose-intolerant) when I find something soy I like, and I drink the water (which has estrogen-like hormones or something like that) that’s available to me. However, there have been lakes with high amounts of this “estrogen” where the fish are changing genders and it is quite scary.

We used to joke at school (at Franciscan) to not drink the water because there was estrogen in it and it would make the men turn into women (which the ratio was like 10 women to 1 man as it was). Little did we know that it was to a point true. The water was not terribly great and did have the “estrogen” in it, but obviously not turning the men into women. 😉

Lakes, rivers, ground water, etc. all are contaminated with estrogens and other medicines and chemicals. Much of the estrogens in the water come from the urine of women on BCP and HRT. There are also other endocrine disrupters that are man made and leech into the water from various sources. Medicines turn up there for the same reason, we excrete it after we take it. Chemicals, well, from factories, from cleaning, from dumping, etc. Many of these things, esp the pharmacuticals cannot be filtered out yet. The joys of living in a technologically advanced society.

:rotfl: They will pay for a study on anything, and take any results.

This gives me an idea for a new business…I’ll just invent studies.

From the article:

“…most of the medical (not socio-spiritual) blame for today’s rise in homosexuality must fall upon the rise in soy formula and other soy products.”

Where are the statistics to back up that there is a rise in homosexuality? Where are the studies? From where does the author get his “facts”?

Good grief! 😦
