For Masses in Spanish in the USA, what are the Proper texts used for the celebration of OL Guadalupe? Are they a translation of the English texts approved for the USA or are they the Spanish texts approved for Mexico?

It is my understanding that the United States has been waiting on approved versions of the Spanish lectionary and/or sacramentary (not sure if it’s both or just one) for YEARS.
Most parishes I know about use the Mexican versions for now.

In the USA, we use the Spanish Roman Missal approved for Mexico. Several years ago, I rasied the question of a US-approved Spanish-language Roman Missal to the former Secretary for the Bishops Committee on Liturgy (now Divine Worship). He told me that the new translation should come in five years. Well, that was exactly five years ago and even though the translation has been approved by the Latin-Rite members of the USCCB, it is my understanding that they are awaiting final approval of the English translation so that they can send the whole package to Rome for the necessary recognitio.
What we use down here in Laredo is the Mexican version of the Spanish Roman Missal and Lectionary.
AJV, I know that you didn’t ask specifically, but, what the BCL told me (and it still holds true today) is that the Lectionary approved in the US is the one from Mexico. The “lectionaries” in Spanish, commonly known as the Orange book (Sunday) and the Blue book (daily) are not approved because the translations are tinged with liberation theology. Therefore, the Spanish-language Masses need to use the lectionary approved for Mexico.
