If contraceptive surgery for humans (such as a vesectomy) is wrong because it violates natural law, why is it okay for us to spay and neuter pets?

Because pets do not have souls, intellect, self control, etc.

We have been given stewardship over nature. Further, Natural law is specifically humans’ response to God’s Eternal Law, which means that animals are not subject to morality.

Sterilization of humans is a sin against the Sacrament of Marriage. Animals don’t marry.

Cloning is immoral on animals because it has no value to human life and is thus torturing the animal

Source?

As far as I am aware, there is nothing wrong with cloning animals; just with cloning humans (same issue as IVF).
That was my understanding. The church has only warned that cloning animals should never be allowed to become a temptation to clone humans.
