Greetings! I’m new here and I’m not sure if this is where I should ask my question. The Pure Love Club in my school will have a Purity Pledge/Commitment Day Blessing in a week and I want to know if we can choose the readings for the Liturgy since it’s a special mass. Is that a stupid question? :confused:

I don’t know if you can just choose (out of the blue) the readings for a given Mass. However, there are “votive” Masses (said for particular intentions). When I get back from Mass, I’ll write a bit more about them.
 
Yes, you can. As long as the readings are from the Old and New Testament and not poems or something else that you have composed. Congratulations on having a special mass for such a worthwhile purpose.
